Culture and Craft offers a three hour long knitting class, four days a week over the summer months and on Friday’s during the winter. Participants knit a woolen item of their choice, various levels of difficulty are on offer. A light meal is enjoyed together towards the end of the class.
Culture and Craft offers a lecture and discussion session about the history of the Icelandic woolen sweater “lopapeysa”. The lecture lasts for 30-40 minutes after which several exclusive sweaters are displayed to participants for close inspection and free discussion. This lecture can be conducted outdoors for a natural experience, when the weather is favorable.
